On behalf of the Anderson family, I would like to thank you for the recent story by John Fey in the UNO Magazine on the Anderson family's long connection to UNO. I would like to add a footnote to the story.
My wife, Wendy, and I met while we were journalism students in 1967 at then-Omaha University. We married in 1970 and three of our four children, Alex, Treya and Ethan, all earned bachelor's degrees from UNO and Treya's husband, Jason Johnson, also earned his degree at UNO. In addition, Ethan's wife, Tracie Anderson, has both a bachelor's degree and a master's from UNO. She has worked at the school for 23 years and is currently the assistant registrar.
