“Radishes and Red Badanas – A novel of the 1960s” was published in 2022. It is a work of historical fiction that tells that story of Becky Jamison’s journey through the turbulent times of the late 1960s. As she leaves her small town in Kentucky to attend college near Chicago, Becky confronts the political and cultural turmoil of the times: protests, demonstrations, occupations, riots, assassinations, drugs and free-love. As a woman, Becky will never have to fight in a war she doesn’t believe in, but the draft comes to her in its hunger for her brothers, friends and lovers. In this coming-of-age novel, Becky Jamison realizes the importance of speaking out no matter the cost and discovers the redemptive power of love to heal in times of tragedy.”

“Me, My Guitar, and Elvis” was published in 2024. It is a work of mainstream women’s fiction that weaves together the stories of Wendy, her stolen guitar and the life of Elvis Presley. It is a story of survival, resilience and one woman’s ability to persevere in the face of abuse and loss. Ultimately it is a story about how love can heal our brokenness.
